Wish I had photos of all the socks
I've knitted. Nothing fancy but
really warm!
The turquoise of these socks is
Corriedale and silk blended together.
The grey has mauve and turquoise kid
mohair blended in. I double the toes
and heels on my socks for longer wear.
These socks are Corriedale
yarn that I hand dyed.
All of the yarn that I knit my socks out of I handspin.
|
This yarn I spun from the green/mauve Corriedale/Alpaca roving that is for sale on my shopping page.

Just a plain pair of socks that I knitted.
The yarn was different colored
Corriedale and silk. After I knitted
them I then overdyed them in a
turquoise Koolaid.
These were actually my very first pair
of sock! I think the pattern came out of
the Folk Socks book. The white is
Corriedale and the browns are
different natural colors of Llama. Was
a fun and very educational sock
pattern!

FREE sock pattern coming soon! I just
have to write it down as I do it. It is
basically a combination of several
patterns I've done over the years, and
what I finally decided I like to do with a
sock.
This picture is of the back of one of my
pairs of socks. It shows the slip stitch
heels that I like. I won't make socks
with any other kind of heel. I think the
heel wears better and certainly fits
better. Snugs up the heel to fit just
right.
This is the top of the sock

This is the bottom of the heel

This is a pair of Corriedale and Llama
socks I knitted for a friend. The tan
color in the socks is the Llama. The
mat that they are sitting on really
brings out that color.
