Ladies of Sithean
Marcella (above picture) is probably the dearest
sheep I have ever met.  She came to me in July of
2003 after lambing problems.  She has a
wonderfully soft two tone fleece.  When she is
shorn she looks like an Appaloosa horse!  I keep
the two colors separated when I skirted her fleece
and then sent it off to have it washed and made into
roving for spinning. So we have two colors roving
off the same sheep--Naturally!  She was born at
WFBF in 2001.
The Ladies of Sithean are very special ewes, with wonderfully, next to the skin soft, fleeces.  All have had
some type of health issue that prevents them from lambing.  They come here to live out there remaining
days thanks to the kindness of the shepherds at White Fish Bay Farm in Door County Wisconsin.  The
other choice for them was the one way truck.  We all know what that means!  These are special ewes that
have been devoted "greeters" at WFB B&B since their births there.  Here they continue the tradition of
greeting visitors that stop to see the::
Lovely Ladies of Sithean.
Marika was born at White Fish Bay
Farm in March of 2001.  She has the
softest fleece and the sweetest
personality. She came to live with me
in Sept. 2004.  A classic Corriedale
beauty!
This is my classic beauty, Marigold.
She is a bit standoffish.  She had some
major problems during her pregnancy
that has made her a bit leery of us
humans.  She is becoming more
trusting all the time since she arrived
here at Sithean in July, 2003.  She was
born at WFBF in 2001.

daughter with Molly.
Dreamy Molly, also born in 2001 at
WFBF arrived in August 2005.
